Today we’d like to share with you a gorgeous ‘Greatest Showman’ Wedding! This fun shoot, co-ordinated by Gina Fernandes Photography and Nicole Hope Smith Wedding Fayres, shows how you can put your own twist on a theme to make your wedding day one of a kind. She chose to include a real couple alongside a model, as well as local suppliers and vintage props. We’ll leave it over to Gina to explain a little more… We’re sure you’ll love this one!

How to recreate this Greatest Showman Wedding:
PRIMARY COLOURS
Red and blue are classic circus colours, often used with white and gold. Use these colours as your base and accessorise accordingly! The bright colours are fun and bold, while the gold adds sophistication.
GO CRAZY WITH PROPS
You cannot go wrong with props in a wedding like this – anything weird and wonderful will work! This shoot features elephants, top hats, baskets, antiquarian circus books, decorative chandeliers and mirrors to give it the vintage ‘treasure trove’ circus feel.
Vintage Circus Venue Styling
Our Greatest Showman wedding shoot took place at Castle View Farms and Stables. It has a barn and a huge amount of land surrounding it. Taking advantage of this, we set up the wedding to take place outside – with dressed tables, a vintage popcorn cart, a hay bale seating area and old-fashioned carnival games.
Red, golds and blues were the colours behind the shoot. Vintage china and crystal glasses adorned the main table with large floral centrepieces to portray the splendour and grandeur of a Victorian circus. Our awesome props were provided by Absolutely Vintage China Hire and The Rutland Bookshop– these really added something special to the shoot. The stationery by Design by Emily and signs by House Of Vinyl was bright and bold, featuring elephant paperclips and rich red tassels.
The theme was even worked into the food with a tiered circus cake and Ferris wheel cupcakes by The Purple Pumpkin Cake Company!

Quirky Vintage Wedding Dresses
We were blessed with four gorgeous vintage wedding dresses by BexBrides. Two dresses were long and elegant, one with fabulous flared sleeves and the other with a statement beaded belt. The shorter tea-dresses feature a beautiful, colourful ombre on the bottom, with more of a fun feel to them. These were all selected to suit the Victorian era, where The Greatest Showman was set.
Jewellery was provided by Made Gallery, complimenting the vintage with quirky touches. Make up (by Lipsticks & Hairpins) was kept radiant and subtly grand, complimenting the colours of the flowers by Helena at By Arrangement Floristry. Shoes for both the bride and groom were from Irregular Choice, as I knew nothing else would suit this unconventional wedding shoot!

The Greatest Showman Wedding Entertainers
No Greatest Showman wedding can be complete without circus acts, so we were joined by stilt walkers from Slam Events and a fire performer from What If Circus. Our model bride and groom were mesmerised! Quirky entertainment can add so much to your wedding, keeping guests entertained, making great photos and creating awesome memories!
I love both the music and the message in The Greatest Showman, and had so much fun creating a wedding inspired by it! This style is so easy to recreate as anything goes- combine elements you love to create your unique wedding!
