City Bride on Chinese New Year in London

When Nina from Nina Pang Photography sent over these awesome City Bride pictures to me she mentioned that she doesn’t often see City weddings on wedding blogs. And you know? I think Nina is totally right!

Most couples hunt for the ideal wedding venue. They forget the iconic and inspiring places that we live in, especially in London.  So, it’s a pleasure to share with you these pictures today from Chinese New Year. Three stunning wedding dresses all shot out and about in London. From iconic red phone boxes to the Houses of Parliament, there is plenty of stunning backdrops to go around!

Mix in symbolic Chinese culture

Choosing your wedding stationery and flowers

I love the red and gold wedding stationery for this City Bride. A traditional Chinese wedding colour palette sprinkled in modern touches to appeal to our 21st century City Bride.

As Nina explains, “I combined an elegant hand lettering style with gold foil press … [with a] striking red card and
enclosed it with a gold envelope. This was my vision of modernity mixed with symbolic Chinese culture.”

The wedding flowers consisted of an oversized bouquet with muted tones to match the beautiful textured dresses. Inspired by London’s wealth of green spaces there were pops of blue and wild green foliage as well.
