Here’s what Fiona and Lee told us about their big day:
“Our wedding was a relaxed, fun filled day for our enthusiastic and unusual family to enjoy. Everyone turned up in medieval or fantasy themed costume and really got behind the theme. We got married at a 14th Century coaching inn, The Fleece Inn, that suited our aesthetic perfectly. The barn where we held the event was laid out like a medieval ceremony and banquet hall. We had an amazing pop-punk band play and everyone got into the spirit of the evening. We couldn’t have asked for a better day.”

We love how much this couple committed to their medieval wedding theme. Lee had a sword which he drew as they were pronounced husband and wife, and Fiona had a tall white staff decorated with gold leaf. Talk about majestic!
Here’s what they told us about their inspirations:
“We were inspired by our mutual love of fantasy books and shows, our love of dressing up in costumes, and Lee’s hobby of medieval reenactment. Our outfits were inspired by the idea of an ‘Elven Queen’ and a ‘Dwarven Thane’.”
