Unconventional Wedding

Fusion Wedding- Culture and Colour!

We LOVE the energy, love and colour captured in this Fusion Wedding. Kat and Brian took conventional parts of both English and Indian weddings and mixed them up to make a fun, spiritual, and welcoming wedding! This beautiful fusion of culture, captured by Michael Briggs, was truly a day to remember.

How to create a fusion wedding

What to include

Write down your favourite traditions from each culture so you can start to figure out how to blend them. It may be important for you to listen to the views of your families, too.

Find the right officiant/celebrant

Look for the right person to conduct your ceremony, respecting both cultures and representing you both. This is very important especially if you’d like a religious ceremony.

Campervan and Ceremony...

The guests at this Fusion Wedding are all clearly embracing each other’s cultures and having a great time doing it! The groom and his party arrived by campervan and were greeted by joyful singing and dancing. The guests then gathered for the beautiful Hindu ceremony.

Fusion Wedding Reception

A string quartet serenaded the guests at the reception, where they feasted and shared speeches before dancing the night away!

Beautiful fusion wedding portraits

What a beautiful day! Michael Briggs has really nailed it with these gorgeous portraits. How amazing do Kat and Brian look?!
