Let me learn everything about your vision for the film you want me to create.

If you don’t have a vision don’t worry – tell me your plans for the day and I will design a proposal based on our discussions. Before long we will have a plan which is tailor made and unique to you! Super 8 cine film has a unique colour palette and a dreamy texture which channels timeless vintage vibes.  My packages start at £700 and all packages include Polaroid photographs. Full details together with FAQs can be found on my website – please take a look. If you like what you see, contact me to arrange a call or online meeting where I can find out more about your plans, and you can find out if I am the right filmmaker for you. No charge for the meeting, no obligation, and definitely no hard sell – I promise!

Memento Pictures doesn’t do digital film. I offer an analogue alternative which is authentic, unique, and original. Authentic cine film from Kodak. The same film used by Quentin Tarantino, Christopher Nolan, and Martin Scorsese. Unique because the images captured by my camera as film moves through it at 18 frames per second exist only once at that precise moment and cannot be copied. Original because film is what was used to record moving images before VHS, miniDV, High Definition, or any cellphone you have ever used. Film was the original moving image medium. Keeping film alive in the digital age is unconventional by definition!

I taught film production technology at Birmingham City University for over twenty years before leaving to set up Memento Pictures. Eventually my passion for filmmaking overtook my passion for teaching. Both careers are inspired by the same ambition – to help people achieve their dreams.
