Hi, I’m Lindsey and welcome to Oh You Pretty Things Hair. I’m hairstyle obsessed and have been from a young age, and my love and passion for this continues to grow.

My love of eclectic music together with a creative flair have combined to create my dream job. From the prepping and the setting, to the styling and creating the perfect styles to suit each individual and their unique style. 

For me, it all started with music, and that is where a lot of my inspiration comes from today. I’ve always loved all types of music and growing up I was in awe of the quirky outfits and hairstyles of the musicians on the front of music albums and in music videos.  It was the 1940’s look of Billie Holiday’s barrel waves and curls set with flowers. Then there’s the Queen of bohemia Stevie Nick’s heavy bangs and long natural waves. Not to mention the brightly coloured, backcombed and spritzed hair of Cyndi Lauper and …. the electric Ziggy Stardust.  

I have been obsessed with techniques and creations from the 1920s onwards for over 10 years. This means I have a huge range of knowledge to help inspire and have the skills to create the most perfect style to suit you, to help you feel your absolute best and most vibrant self – whatever that may be! 

Being involved in such a special day and in one of the biggest celebrations of someone’s life, is one of the best feelings in the world. I am always so grateful and happy to be a part of it!

I am really friendly and down to earth and look forward to getting to know my new clients, who they are and what they are about so we can create that dreamy hairstyle inspired by you!
