This tropical opulence wedding is a beauty! ‘Tropulence’ is set to be a big wedding trend for 2020. It’s a striking and fresh style that doesn’t age, blending luxurious styling with bold, contrasting colours. ‘Bringing the outdoors in’ was an inspiration behind this shoot. These photos were sent into us by Twigs Branch Photography and the tropical leaves are making me wish I was sipping cocktails on an exotic beach! Read on for more of this refreshing style.

Tips to achieve the tropical opulence look
Choose a bright venue
A blank canvas wedding venue with white walls and natural light will really make pinks and greens pop. A bright venue will create the fresh, modern feeling.
plants & colour pops
This wedding look is unique because of the tropical leaves and bright pops of colour. The leaves look great on archways and centrepieces. By adding splashes of colour, you're creating a fun, summery feeling.
rock a flower crown
A flower crown can be an awesome statement piece that reflects your theme and shows your personality.
how to style a tropical opulence wedding
A ‘tropulence’ wedding is all about the bright and bold, but without over-cluttering. The styling was the brainchild of Ginger Lily Florist and Ginger Moon Wedding & Event Hire. These distinctive flowers are Gloriosas and Anthuriums, paired with bold leaves from Palms & Monstera. The birch arch and broken urns give an earthy look, brightened by the striking plants. This summery styling transformed Garthmyl Hall into a tropical paradise! It works brilliantly with the white walls and natural light.
Evelyn & Elliott provided the fun stationery for this tropical opulence wedding. The use of green, pink and white was continued with a tropical print and swirly font. The stationery brilliantly complements the funky wedding cake and cake pops by Hunkington House Kitchen.

These gorgeous models, Flavia and Chelsea, are rocking bespoke gowns by My Little Wedding Shop. These were created especially for the tropical opulence wedding theme, with nods to the floral design. Adorn By Ashley created this incredible floor length veil, embroidered with tropical leaves!
The bridal makeup by SJM Beauty mirrors the bright, fresh feel of the shoot, using a luminous springtime palette. This works a treat with the soft, whimsy hairstyles by Louise Price Hair Design, finished off with a flower crown and a matching single bloom.
No wedding shoot is complete without confetti! Shropshire Petals created a bespoke, biodegradable confetti mix to add a sprinkle of flower power to the photos.
