Unconventional Wedding

An Arabian Nights Wedding

Today we are diving into the world of an Arabian Nights Wedding. It’s fill of jewelled colours and opulence. And who better to describe it that the lady who styled and created it. Alongside a wonderful team of course… Over to you for the introduction Colette from Stories Of Style;

As a girl, I was obsessed with the 1,001 Tales of the Arabian Nights. I took every book of these stories out of the library, probably several times. The magic and infinite possibilities these tales conveyed; their attitude of wonder and belief; the ample lashings of hope and drama, joy and opulence.

So, when I was asked to style the Arabian Nights zone at The Unconventional Wedding Festival I enthusiastically started thinking about colours, ambience and paraphernalia

It’s all about the sights and senses with this theme. An abundance of bright flowers, jewel tones, fragrant aromas and bohemian touches such as ornate lanterns, floor cushions, and rich tapestries. To really cement the Middle Eastern feeling, we will infuse the occasion with the traditional sounds of authentic Arabic music, low exotic lightning and middle eastern scents……
