The beach and beautiful dresses are two of my favourite things! As the weather gets colder, this bohemian beach wedding inspiration is giving me all the throwbacks to British summertime. Looking for bridal inspiration? You’re in the right place! Caroline from The Face Bridal gives us her insight below.
Bohemian Beach Wedding- The boho bride
I wanted to create a cool, laidback bohemian beach wedding shoot to inspire and capture the spirit of the boho bride. Together with photographer, Corrina Atkinson, we wanted to create something contemporary with a Western twist. Corrina really captured the beauty of the location, the models and all the styling elements. Dried, natural flowers were a must for our shoot, and I knew Sarah from Bees and Butterflies would bring this to the table. She did just that! Natural flowers and grasses with orange and green hues looked stunning against the backdrop of the sea. The makeup obviously had to be natural with glowing, dewy skin. Then the red lip made an entrance!
Bohemian Beach Wedding Look- boho styling
May, from Love Is In The Hair, created beautiful, laidback styles, with loose bohemian plaits and beachy waves. And although the wind blew wild the whole day, the hair looked gorgeous on the images. Bex from Bexbrides took the opportunity to show some of her upcycled vintage wedding gowns and bespoke designs. The detail in each of the dresses really capture Bex’s raw talent, with lace, tie dye and beading bringing an eclectic mix of designs. The three girls who modelled were all so different, all beautifully stunning with each girl bringing their own unique stamp to the shoot. We loved creating this bohemian beach wedding shoot- The whole day was fabulous, with each person involved adding their stamp. Great team. Great shoot.
