vibrant & quirky
oxfordshire wedding
This quirky Oxfordshire wedding is a beauty! Charlotte & Ben both wanted to create a ‘riot of colour’ and do something outside of the box to reflect their personalities. They have absolutely smashed it with bold, eclectic wedding styling and colourful wedding wear. Take a look and get inspired!

Planning A
Quirky oxfordshire wedding
Charlotte and Ben got married in Woodstock Town Hall and wanted a quirky, colourful, fun wedding to reflect their personalities. With only 6 months to plan the wedding and find all their suppliers (both have kids and busy jobs too), they didn’t have much time to consider multiple options. This meant they had to be bold with their choices and trust their instinct! Despite this, they were over the moon with their supplier choices, and the day went smoothly with no stress. They wanted to plan a day that truly reflected themselves on a limited budget – and opted for some bold style choices with a neon/ rainbow palette.

fun & colourful
wedding wear
Charlotte actually bought 3 wedding dresses, but nothing felt quite right. She eventually found an amazing rainbow sequin dress from Dorothy Perkins of all places. The Crown & Glory rainbow superhero cape was an eBay purchase (love it!), and the shoes were from Esska, which specialises in colourful, fun footwear.
Ben’s eye-catching, bright fuchsia suit was from Amazon, and the bridesmaids’ dresses were a mix of Shien and Little Mistress.
Tamara of T B Beauty did an amazing job with the make-up, and hairdresser Laura Elizabeth did a stellar job of suggesting a hair vine, which Charlotte picked up on Amazon and was really pleased with.

eclectic
wedding decor
This quirky Oxfordshire wedding was a beautiful mish-mash of colour and fun, and the styling really brought the vision to life. Charlotte had strong views on the ‘tablescaping’, and she and her bridesmaid Claire went to an antiques shop and bought loads of random decor, including vintage coloured glassware, signage, and… a neon print party pig!
The rainbow table runners were a Facebook Marketplace purchase and the charger plates were from Dunelm Mill. The acrylic table signs and seating plan were from Jellypress on Etsy. The dried flowers and pampas clouds on the tables were an Etsy purchase, too. The look is brilliantly topped off by the neon, dried bouquets from The Happy Blossoms.
The epic wedding cake by Sarah from CakeAways had three tiers of vanilla, chocolate raspberry, and cappuccino. The bright paint splashes and the ‘Je T’aime’ phrase tied it into the colourful theme.

food & dance!
Now for our favourite bits – music and food! The caterers were Green Catering, who provided a buffet-style service. Charlotte and Ben also created a DIY dessert bar and prosecco station! The DJ was the very groovy Fish Disco, who got everyone up and dancing.
What a vibrant, fun and relaxed wedding day! Big love to Nick Emm for sending this one in.
