Hey friend! I’m AJay (she/her) and I have blue hair… so of course I became Blue Jay Photography!

I’ve been capturing happy couples’ big days for over six years and there’s never a day I don’t feel truly blessed to be trusted to do so. Wedding Photography keeps me sane in an insane world; the privilege of getting to meet (and getting to know!) so many wonderful and unique people is food for my soul and now… I want to get to know you!

Your wedding day is just that – your day. It should be jam packed full of things that make you happy. Want to throw a Lord of the Rings inspired festival bash? I’ll get you that one shot to rule them all. Are you pet parents who want your fur babies in on the action? I may have to give them a fuss first. Feeling more like a first mosh over a first dance? Let’s get that circle pit spinning.

Whether you’re a swiftie or a metalhead – I’m here to celebrate you and everything you are. There is no idea you could bring to the table that I won’t get excited about. Want your ceremony conducted by a drag queen? Hell yeah. If you choose me to capture your wedding – I am ALL in. There is no mythical rule book for weddings and I’m here to be the devil on your shoulder and voice in your ear to tell you… ‘do it’.

You want to feel more like a friend is taking your photo than a stranger; that’s where I come in. Having your photo taken can be anxiety inducing (especially if you’re neurospicey like me). I won’t force you to do any awkward poses, instead I’ll make you laugh and let you know that you’re absolutely ‘slaying’! My goal is to make you feel on top of the world, because when you are truly having a good time, the photos take care of themselves.
