Yes, every independent celebrant can create a bespoke ceremony and stand with you anywhere – beach, forest, warehouse, moorland: licensed or not. They will be professional, and take your story and your preferences into account. Most independent celebrants will happily mix beliefs harmoniously and with sensitivity. I’ve done just that since 2023 and now I’m itching to get with my tribe at work as well as at play. 

What makes me different? 

I’m the celebrant for you if you want someone who understands the sheer joy of doing things differently.

I’m proudly Northern, unapologetically working class, and autistic – which means I bring emotional intelligence, clarity, and a detail-obsessed brain to everything I do. I also have a Masters in English Literature, so whether you want your ceremony to feel like an ethereal faerie tale, a punk-rock love story, a vintage 50s romance, or something with a spark of alternative comedy, I’ll pitch it perfectly.

Into themes? Good. So am I.

My wardrobe is full of Hell Bunny 1950s dresses, psychobilly prints, historical re-enactment clothing and alternative glam; I’m also a keen sewist and full-on gamer / geek. If you want a cosplay wedding,  I swear by my pretty floral bonnet I’ll be there in character.
General Leia? Great Fairy Mija? Mellie from Red Dwarf (with Ace Rimmer in tow)? The only limit is your imagination.

My partner, Ace, offers an exclusive, budget-friendly dog chaperone service just for my couples. It means your furry family member can be part of the celebration without stress or chaos.

Our home proudly flies the flag for bi and trans folk. “Other” is my normal. If you’re queer, neurodivergent, non-traditional, or just a bit eccentric, you’re safe with me.

Sound and music sorted.

I can provide recorded music anywhere using my portable Bose sound system, perfect for outdoor ceremonies or off-grid venues.
