Federica Cosentino is an alternative nature wedding planner. When she sent us her collaboration with photographer Valeria Forno, we were enchanted by the romantic, elvish wedding world they created. These Tolkien inspired photos tell the story of an elvish elopement in beautiful ivy woodlands, and we think you might just love them!
Elvish styling magic
The ethereal bride is adorned with an elf-like headdress and jewels by Midnight Nymph. With her hair woven into a bohemian plait and decorated with flowers, her makeup was kept natural and glowing by Alexandra Savoretti Makeup. She looks dainty end elegant, yet with a powerful and magical presence.
The bride and groom are both dressed in Danilux Atelier. The elvish wedding dress is beautifully simple, with lace detail on the sleeves and pastel pink cape-like details. The ‘draped’ look of the dress is both relaxed and elegant.
Woodland flowers and celestial stationery
The floral design in this elvish wedding shoot was by L’incantesimo Fiorito. The bouquet colours are kept muted and mostly white, with pink hues and with lots of greenery. These colour choices enhance the natural and pure feel of the shoot. The idea is continued through into the buttonhole and the bride’s hair.
The stationery by Grigiocielo Studio compliments the flowers and introduces a celestial ‘phases of the moon’ theme. The name places are rocks, which also make wonderful keepsakes, and the vows are printed on elegant scrolls.
An elvish wedding picnic
This shoot includes many little details that make it special and unique. The picnic style wedding table is covered in beautiful ivy and decorated in candles and oil lamps from Antique Boutique. With tree stumps as stools, we love how the table embraces natural elements.
Instead of a fancy, tiered wedding cake, this shoot takes a simple approach by showcasing mini cupcakes by Daniela Goy. They’re minimalistic yet gorgeous, with leaf decoration and simple cream icing. They suit the picnic vibe perfectly and are perfect for an elvish wedding!
