Here at Unconventional Wedding we just love a unique venue and a Reclamation Yard Wedding Styled Shoot ticks all the boxes! So when Hannah from Bridal Reloved Street sent us these pictures which were shot by Photos by Jim how could we say no to featuring them?!?!?!
We’re totally in love with the bold, home grown, wedding flowers and funky bridal jackets. And don’t forget to check out all the quirky wedding features throughout – from reclaimed doors, to roof tiles, signage and a giant cockerel! And there is a dog (because if you send us pictures with either a cat or a dog you know they will end up on the website!).
Top tips to acheive this Reclamation Yard Wedding look
CHOOSE AN INTERESTING VENUE
OK let's face it - you probably won't get married in a reclamation yard but definitely pop into one to get some funky photos if there is one nearby. Find a wedding venue that forms a fun backdrop to your wedding day
ADD YOUR PERSONALITY
Whether this is with a denim or leather bridal jacket or with your favourite sparkly trainers - just go for it! There is no set formula for weddings anymore
choose an Interesting wedding venue
A reclamation yard has so many interesting features to form a back drop for your wedding day and there is bound to be other similar interesting wedding locations in your area! I particularly love all the different signs at the reclamation yards – from vintage to modern – it’s an eclectic mix of different styles all thrown together.
When hunting for your wedding venue be on the lookout for somewhere that reflects the personality of you both. Make the most of your venues features – like the picture of model Lucy above standing in front of the signs on the railway sleepers. The perfect photo!
