Sparkly Festival Wedding – Colourful Coachella Vibes!

The Coachella festival vibe is slowly making its way over from the US and we think it makes for a super fun wedding theme! It’s our traditional festival but without any Glastonbury wellies in sight! We’re talking glitter, sequins, tassels and more! This sparkly festival wedding inspiration was created by Lily Jones Events and her awesome team to inspire you to embrace the sparkles & go over-the-top festival on your big day! We’re loving these colourful and joyful wedding ideas.

how to recreate this sparkly festival wedding

SPARKLE!

Lots of sparkle and lots of glitter! Don’t be shy!

TROPICAL VIBES

Flamingos, golden pineapples, bright colours and tropical flowers will help to create the perfect pool party Coachella vibe!

BE BOLD

Don’t be afraid to go daring with your outfits. Channel the hot weather of Coachella and banish away the Glastonbury rain!

A sparkly festival wedding ceremony

I love anything that shines, so creating this sparkly festival wedding was a dream come true! For the wedding styling, I created a low picnic table with floor cushions and a tropical centrepiece by Lily Among the Thorns, adorned with flamingos, disco balls and golden pineapples (obviously!). Pinks and blues were featured with metallic cutlery and pink cut glassware.

I’m absolutely loving the rainbow balloon wall by CJK balloons. It’s perfect for that fun vibe and made an amazing backdrop for the ceremony, lead by Bex The Celebrant . Bex is the most fun celebrant around – She conducted an amazing handfasting ceremony which even featured a Dirty Dancing lift!

A Coachella couple

How fabulous are these sparkly festival wedding looks? Perfect for the Coachella vibe!

Hair by Tel and Lara James Makeup created this fun and free festival vibe style for our bride and the amazing Tulle & Flo designed these sparkly glitter veil ‘wings’ which added that bridal look and was such a unique way of adding a veil without covering up an amazing hairdo.

With a festival wedding, accessories are your best friend! Check out the shoes and jewellery by Everything But Sprinkles and the epic sequin kimono from Tilly Von Tiki.

Luxurious Glitter sparkle-afied our bride and groom, giving Ben a glitter beard and Laura an amazing glitter and gem chest piece complete with hair glitter and face jewels.

This festival bridal wear is by We Koko and we LOVE the bold sparkliness! We’re also loving our groom’s silver shirt and raspberry jacket combo!

Sparkly festival wedding details

Cat Creative’s festival wedding stationery suite was something we’d never seen before! She created 3D tipi invitations, festival VIP Pass lanyards which doubled up as place names, badges and amazing folded chatterbox menus.

Also, let’s take a second to appreciate this gorgeous wedding cake! Hanna’s Cake Creations’ simple but stylish creation featured pink and blue chocolate paint brushstrokes and a whole tier in gold. She also created some pink and white twisted style cake pop favours…yum!

bringing the festival vibes

This sparkly festival wedding was housed in an amazing petal marquee/tent by Piece Of Cake Marquees at Longton Wood. It’s a beautiful canvas pole marquee and was perfect for when the great British Summer weather did its thing!

Finally, there is no wedding without a bar! Outside we had a champagne explosion at the Neigh Bar, a beautifully and stylishly converted horsebox bar.

We hope you’ve loved this fun and bold wedding inspiration! Want more? You might also love: Fun Festival Wedding at Jimmy’s Farm
