Today we’re sharing Dud and Gina’s epic festival wedding weekend. This incredible couple described their big day as ‘a combination of a family holiday, a festival and a rugby tour’! Sounds pretty great, right?
The celebration took place over a bank holiday weekend at Hidden River Barn in Cumbria. Kirsty Rockett Photography captured the vibe perfectly with these relaxed and colourful wedding photos. The day was all about family, fun, and most importantly… love! Keep reading for festival wedding inspiration.

Festival Wedding Weekend Tips
Personal touches
Decorate with things that make your heart sing! It's all about sharing what makes you happy.
Games!
From simple lawn games to bouncy castles and rodeo bulls, give your guests something to keep them entertained and make them giggle.
Relaxed Wedding photography
Find a photographer that gets it. If formal wedding photos aren't your thing, a relaxed wedding photographer can really capture the fun.
Styling a Festival Wedding Weekend
Dud and Gina filled their festival wedding weekend with the most cheerful decor – Sunflowers, gnomes and rainbow flags! They handmade and decorated 165 camping mugs and used them as creative and personal place settings and favours. They also handmade the wooden signs and filled the grounds with hay bales to really bring the festival vibe.

Fun Wedding Games
What better way to bring the fun than with lots of games? Not just garden games, but inflatables and a rodeo bull too? Dud & Gina split their guests into teams for a little friendly competition so everyone could score points. This is a brilliant way to combine both sides of the family and keep people entertained.

A Dog-Friendly Wedding
We’re big animal lovers here at UW, and so are Dud and Gina! Check out the gorgeous pups that almost stole the show at their festival wedding weekend! We want to see more dogs walking down the aisle, please!

Festival Wedding Wear
Dud and Gina didn’t want to spend a fortune on their wedding dresses. They shopped on the high street and managed to find 2 outfits each for £200… And they ALL had pockets! The money they saved meant they could splash out on accessories like bespoke leather jackets and embroidered sunflower converse. Don’t they both look incredible?
Gina had this stunning paper sunflower bouquet, including a charm for her late brother Colin. Alternative bouquets are a stunning, unique way to add a personal touch to your wedding outfit.
