This gorgeous, moody shoot was sent into us by planner and stylist Ella Bella Weddings And Events and photographed by Kezia Tan. This woodland gothic wedding already has the stunning natural backdrop of Upthorpe Wood, meaning the decor could be kept simple.
For the bespoke handfasting ritual by Phoebe Smith Ceremonies, Belles And Beaus Wedding Styling provided the decor including a black triangular backdrop and whimsical moss-covered lampshades.
The Copper Cacti created floral arrangements with dark foliage and deep red flowers, as well as the terrarium table pieces with cacti and succulents. Hatchfully Yours provided the heart-shaped wedding favours, beautifully crafted from eggshells!

We absolutely love alternative wedding wear, and this woodland gothic wedding shoot sure didn’t disappoint!
Model Catherine is rocking a black ombre wedding dress from Lucy Can’t Dance with a statement headpiece by Victoria Charles Headpieces. She’s wearing black snake earrings from Crafty Cats Club and copper leaf accessories handcrafted by CRZyBest.
A hint of retro was added to the look with vintage-inspired hair styling by Le Keux, and Victoria Bradfield MUA emphasised the gothic element of the shoot with bold black eyeliner and a deep red lip. What a perfect look for this woodland gothic wedding – dark and moody but still elegant and whimsical.
