the love of my life
“And so we come to the love of my life. And she really is…
I try to tell her that as much as I can but I’m not always as open with my emotions as she is because she can never hide her emotions from me!
What can I say about her? She’s changed my life. From the moment she walked in and looked at me with those beautiful green eyes…
Living with her for the past number of years has been wonderful and a joy every day. She challenges me, and sometimes it’s difficult to comprehend what’s going on in that cute little head of hers but we always come to an understanding and make it work together…
We’ve been on holiday to so many wonderful places and she’s always uncertain at first but eventually comes to love her surroundings and really enjoy it…
She cares so deeply about her friends and they say you should always judge someone by the number of friends they have and she has literally thousands more than me, who all send her messages of support and love each and every day…
At Christmas they send cards and presents to show how deeply loved and appreciated she really is. And she deserves it because she always goes that extra mile for those that she loves. Every morning I wake up and see her gaze lovingly in to my eyes and we’ll go and get breakfast..
I always tell her how cute and fluffy she is and she sometimes likes to lick my nose when she’s in a playful mood. She will even sit on my lap when she is in a loving mood and wants my attention. She truly is the best mammal I’ve ever met and I wouldn’t be here without her…
Having only 3 legs is something that has never held her back in life and no matter what adversity is thrown at her, our cat Lola truly is a wonder. Please raise a glass to our cat, Lola.”

OUR TOP TIPS FOR YOUR WEDDING SPEECH
Make it personal
The best speeches, like Gary's above, are personal. And its great to include your pets who can't be with you on your special day.
Be YOU!
Always be YOU! Don't do anything out of your comfort zone. If you don't want to do a speech, you don't have too.
Keep it snappy
You may think your hour long monologue is a work of art but your guests won't thankyou for it. Especially if their tummies are grumbling for food! Keep your speeches short and snappy. I'd recommend 5-7 minutes per person.
Don't forget
To compliment your partner, say thankyou to family & friends who have helped, say thankyou to suppliers who have gone above and beyond (a kind word is always appreciated)
