We love an outdoor wedding ceremony here at UW! This bohemian autumn wedding was sent into us by ButtercupBus Vintage Campers and photographed by Tony Pullen. It’s a beautiful, intimate affair with a Harvest Festival theme of feasting, celebrating, and giving thanks. What a brilliant theme for a wedding. Keep reading for more loveliness!

bohemian Autumn Wedding - Woodland Harvest Celebration
This bohemian autumn wedding shoot at Longton Wood was an intimate marriage that was symbolic, spiritual, and eco-friendly with a rustic feel. I wanted to convey our couples values of eco-friendly living as well as their interest in astronomy and respect of upholding Celtic traditions. We created a romantic soft, and timelessly elegant look.
Buttercup Bus Vintage Campers were onsite at the venue with one of their classic VW Campers, so that the brides could arrive in style!
Eco Friendly Wedding Styling
The ‘Harvest Moon’ is usually orange in colour and we used that as main inspiration for our autumn colour palette. The venue was dressed with pumpkins, squashes, and other seasonal fruits. With props by Bay Wedding Props and wicker baskets from Dee Lightful Willow, we were all set for an autumn wedding celebration!
The flower crowns and bouquets were made by Canterbusy Florist using locally grown materials with environmentally friendly scented garden roses for a touch of golden yellow.

bohemian Autumn Bridalwear
We were loaned stunning garments from Audrey Ashley Couture and footwear from House of Elliot. Both these brands specialise in supplying top quality, hand crafted and ethically sourced products produced in the UK.
Our brides look incredible with makeup by Lana Mets and hair styling by Terri Carmen Stevens, perfectly matching the bohemian autumn wedding theme.
A Wedding Handfasting Ceremony
Trisha Wood, our Celebrant, carried out a handfasting ceremony which is a Celtic tradition of joining hands. She also made bespoke memorial jewellery for the brides.
At the time of the shoot, we had a full moon closest to the autumn equinox. This moon is known as the ‘Harvest Moon’ and this is a time when crops have been brought in from the field. Traditionally, Harvest is celebrated with a big feast and the sharing of locally grown produce. Churches are often decorated with fruits and vegetables, which are then donated to charity, so we did the same!
