A celebration of
Love & Individuality
Organised by the inclusive duo Jess and Cloudy at Juno Bridal Wear, this incredible styled shoot is a true celebration of love and individuality; showcasing the beauty of real people. Set in the atmospheric The Chapter Hall, a team of LGBTQ+ creatives and allies came together to craft three (yes THREE!) distinct wedding looks, bold and bright styled zones, and personal and intimate moments. As a result: vibrant inspiration filled with authenticity, diversity, and self-expression.

meet the Couples
Jess from Juno Bridal Wear told us that when planning the shoot that
“Representation was always at the forefront of the vision, for me (Jess) as a lesbian it’s so important to showcase queer couples in the wedding world. And to show that weddings (especially queer ones) don’t have to fit into the palatable box of what society expects a wedding to look like. Especially for Cloudy, as a Mayan woman of colour, it’s always so important to create wedding wear that caters to different skin tones, which is surprisingly difficult to find in the traditional wedding wear industry.”
With that in mind, they chose the most gorgeous couples to work with – styling each in a way that celebrated their unique personalities, while maintaining a visual connection between the looks. Together, each pairing brought their own spark to this joyful celebration of love and individuality. Take a look…

Molly & Tegan - Colour, Connection & Cool Vibes
Molly
Tegan and Molly brought serious style and joy to this shoot! Their look was all about bold fashion choices and celebrating individuality – and we are here for it!
Molly wore a playful pink veil paired with a seriously cool two-piece outfit made from citrus juice by-product (yes, really!). This unique bridal look ticked all the boxes: eco-conscious, fashion-forward, and full of personality. We love how the peekaboo cutout adds a modern twist and a splash of sass.
Tegan
Tegan looked like she stepped out of a dreamy disco fairytale with a shimmering heart halo crown with coordinating earrings by The Lucky Sixpence and a one-shoulder silk gown dip-dyed in soft orange tones. Elegant, romantic, and just the right amount of extra, her look was pure magic.
Together, these two radiated love and joy. Their connection is real, their style was next-level, and their vibes were everything we love about modern weddings – authentic, fun, and fabulously ‘them’. (We also love the subtle nod of coordination between their Juno Bridal Wear gowns – one coloured orange and the other made from them!)
Nicole & Sian - Pearls, Sparkle & Show-Stopping Glam
Nicole
Sian and Nicole‘s looks by Juno Bridal Wear were all about combining romance with an edgy flair. They totally owned their looks and we are swooning!
Nicole wore a dreamy strapless tulle gown layered with pink tones at the bottom and pearls dotted across the bodice. Her pearl halo crown, pearl‐bow earrings, and statement pearl “Mrs” necklace by The Lucky Sixpence added a fun edge to the look.
Sian
Sian, on the other hand, served some serious sparkle. Her gown – a heavily embellished sequin bodice paired with a full, gathered skirt. It was dramatic yet graceful, the right balance of glam and romance. To coordinate she wore a pearl beaded necklace to match Nicole’s earrings and a ruffle edged veil with pink bottom.
The softness of tulle meeting the bold shimmer of sequins – magic! You can literally feel their joy and connection in each shot. Two gorgeous souls, totally unique styles but a distinct connection in their looks brought together in a celebration of love and individuality.
Natalia & Will - A Garden Romance
Natalia
Will and Natalia weren’t a real-life couple like the others – but the styling and their chemistry on camera made their connection feel totally real.
Natalia wore a dreamy handmade “meadow” two-piece by Juno Bridal Wear: a tulle skirt embroidered with delicate floral motifs and a lace-up crop top with rich green velvet ribbons. The look felt fresh and nature-inspired – romantic yet contemporary, with a touch of whimsy that we adore. In addition she wore a set of green ivy leaf hair pins and floral earrings by The Lucky Sixpence to complement.
Will
Will complemented her perfectly in a deep forest green suit from Antich Fine English Tailors, that was sharp and smooth. It was layered with a softer green waistcoat, floral tie and matching pocket square, adding a pop of fun with the pattern.
What really brought them together as a ‘couple’ was the effortless nod to each other’s looks. Natalia’s textures and green accents echoed in Will’s suit, creating a harmonious coordination.
fearless Styling for individuals
Overall, the styling for this shoot was all about bold expression, joyful colour, and breaking away from wedding traditions in your own individual way. As Jess from Juno Bridal Wear put it,
“We worked around our branding colours for the colour palette for the shoot, because they scream untraditional and fun for a wedding. I think a lot of people worry about their wedding being ‘too much’ and we really wanted to show that as long as you love it, there’s no such thing as too much.”
This fearless approach set the tone for styling full of personality, colour, and unapologetic joy.
celebrate Love - the Ceremony Space
The focal point for the ceremony was an incredible sunshine backdrop which has lovingly been named “Big Raye”. Hand built by LJ at Docs & Props who also styled the area. She told us:
“For the Juno styled shoot, we collectively wanted to play with colour and disco vibes. I designed the Sun backdrop as the statement for the ceremony space. I painted this in our mood board colours as a starting point for all the styling. Big Raye brought not only the sunshine but a warm, joyful energy, paired with bold florals to match”
Alongside clusters of disco balls, smiley faces, and stunning florals by Funk & Bloom, the ceremony space was transformed into a playful, vibrant setting – perfect for saying ‘I do’ and capturing those unforgettable moments.
Photo Opportunities
It is a great idea to think of areas for photo opportunities – especially when you can not predict the weather. Pinch Me Please provided a fabulous pink mirror wall with “Never Gonna Give You Up” LED light (you are all now humming Rick Astley aren’t you?). LJ at Docs & Props added to the nostalgia with smiley faces, disco balls and fabulous metallic chandeliers.
She told us:
“Ceiling installations are one of my favourite things to create for styling spaces. I made the custom coloured tassels and shimmering chandeliers to give the space that wow-factor and make it feel immersive from top to bottom.”
Wedding Cake Cutting
LJ from Docs & Props told us
“The cake area is often overlooked when it comes to styling, but I really wanted to give it some love. I added LED rope lighting for extra depth and carried the ceiling tassels through to keep the styling bold and cohesive. I added different shapes to draw the eye.”
The dedicated area really did showcase the incredible work by Bad Cherry Bakery who brought pure joy in the form of a wedding cake. With layers of pink, orange, purple, and yellow frosting, playful ruffles, piped details, and colourful ribbon bows, it was a maximalist dream come true. Fun, fabulous, and totally unapologetic – this cake was a true celebration of love and individuality in edible form!
Wedding Breakfast area
Docs & Props brought the same vibrant, playful nostalgia into the wedding breakfast styling. Smiley piñatas, colourful candles in contrasting holders to match the colour scheme and a statement disco ball canopy by Pinch Me Please brought the fun while Funk & Bloom added bud vases (the ultimate “affordable scatter decor” as they call it) that had previously been used in the ceremony space.
They told us
“All our florals are always designed to be used for both the ceremony and reception, meaning we maximise our couples decor budget“
Fabulous Florals
Olivia from Funk & Bloom told us:
“We’re all about bold, ‘unconventional’ design so when Juno reached out with this dreamy brief we were all in!
We are known for our unique florals and opted for big showy blooms with a tropical twist – large, reflexed roses, statement anthurium, and vibrant star-shaped lilies which demand attention. The matching bridal bouquets, sisters not twins, used the same flowers while still having their own larger-than-life personality and unique sculptural shapes.”
The florals complemented the decor perfectly and were the finishing touches to the styling.
“We collaborated with stylist LJ to ensure the backdrops, florals, and styling pieces worked cohesively. The sunburst backdrop was obviously the star of the show so we created large floor mounds, bursting with textured greenery, that framed its shape.”

Celebrating individualism
Emotive Ceremony
Holden at Giddy & Gay Ceremonies brought a joyful energy and an unforgettable emotion to the shoot with a mini ceremony. They created a moment of real connection for Nicole and Sian that left most of the team in (happy) tears. As Jess from Juno Bridal shared,
“Most of us cried when Holden (the celebrant) delivered the most beautiful mini-ceremony for Nicole and Sian, there was so much love in the room!”
Playful Wedding Banners
Haus of Holker who creates custom text banners provided two fabric banners with Chappell Roan lyrics on them. The duo at Juno Bridal Wear knew that Nicole and Sian loved Chappell so it was a perfect addition for their couple’s portraits. The team embraced the moment and had “pink pony club” blasting on the speakers. Jess from Juno told us:
“it was a real highlight of the day for me, pure lesbian joy!”
Personalised Portrait
Padraig Anthony Design created a surprise portrait for Molly and Tegan based on one of their instagram posts. It was gifted to the couple during the shoot, where the team then found out that the couple were due to move in together the following week and so they would frame the portrait and put it up in their first home together! What a beautiful personal keepsake to mark the event.
Vibrant Stationery
I Like Pens Studio brought the party to paper with a bold, joyful stationery suite full of personality. Playful fonts, scalloped edges, and punchy colours matched the vibrant styling perfectly, while mini disco balls and hand-beaded bows added the ultimate finishing touch that were totally in tune with the shoot’s vibe.
Bringing it all Together
Wedding Photography
Alt Wedding Co brought their signature bold, creative vibes to this shoot – perfectly capturing every joyful moment and well thought out detail. With a knack for photographing real connection and personality, Katie perfectly represented the love and individuality of each of the couples, the skill of the other suppliers involved while showcasing her ability to capture warmth and authenticity.
A Space to celebrate love
With its exposed brick walls, industrial charm, and warm natural light, The Chapter Hall in Leeds offered the ideal setting for this shoot. Its blank canvas feel let every bold colour, sparkling detail, and unique love story shine – making it the perfect place to celebrate love and individuality in all its vibrant forms.
The finishing touches - wedding Hair
The model’s styling wouldn’t have been complete without Evka Allen’s on‑point creativity with hair. Evka specialises in everything from chic up‑dos to soft half‑up hairstyles and old‑Hollywood waves – all of which she showcased perfectly here. She effortlessly created styles to match each couple’s vibe. The result: hair that complements the bold colours and textures on show, adding a final flourish of confidence.
The finishing touches - wedding Make Up
Amy Collins Makeup Artist brought playful elegance to every look, perfectly matching her makeup to the shoot’s bold styling. Known for creating radiant, standout beauty moments, Amy added vibrant pops of colour on the eyes- echoing the tones of each dress and veil, while delicate shimmer and playful gems added a playful look.
