Frankie from Pink Photographics wanted to show that your destination wedding can be as unique as your love story, breaking free from the cookie-cutter wedding scene:

“I was inspired by the volcanic landscapes of Lanzarote and it’s beautiful golden hour light, colourful birds of paradise and Bougainvillea flowers.

I wanted the photos to reflect the island and be as unique as possible, while still being recognised as a wedding and not just an avant-garde-styled shoot. The aim was to show that you can have a destination wedding and still have the styling you want, not just what the venue has for you.”

Alright, let’s talk wedding wear. BexBrides was the perfect choice for this shoot, offering upcycled and vintage goodies that meshed perfectly with the theme. We adore the sunset-hued ombre wedding dress!

Model Beth rocked her own makeup while HairBySam took charge of the creative hair styling. Sam used hair extensions dyed in complementary and brighter shades of Beth’s hair to tie in with the sunset wedding theme, and it looks epic!

Groom’s style? A snazzy grey suit from Empire Grantham, mixed with a vintage orange shirt from Vinted. We love the vibrant pop of colour.

We are absolutely loving this bright wedding colour scheme. Alongside the vibrant pinks and oranges, Sustainability was also a key factor in this wedding styling.

Confetti that won’t haunt Mother Earth? Proper Confetti delivered the goods. Bennington Blooms used local flowers straight from the island to bring the shoot to life and they were repurposed for each look. In keeping with the bright pinks and oranges of the colour scheme, Tailor Made Moments created this cheerful wedding stationery, also using eco-friendly materials.
