We’re all about the weird and wonderful here at Unconventional Wedding. This eclectic wedding shoot, captured by Alexandra Holt Photography, is right up our street! Its quirky and strange, yet eerily elegant and head turning.
The Boo Theatre is home to Horse + Bamboo, a 41-year-old puppetry and mask theatre company in Rossendale. Creepy masks, gothic faces and ridiculous parade props are what they do best…which makes it a perfect eclectic wedding venue!

How to create an eclectic wedding
Be bold
Don’t be afraid to mix and match contrasting patterns and colours. Especially in an interesting venue like The Boo, anything goes!
you do you!
Combine all the things you and your partner love to make your wedding represent you. The beauty of eclectic wedding styling is that there are no rules!
Unique Bridalwear for an eclectic wedding
We absolutely ADORE the unique bridalwear in this eclectic wedding shoot! One embellished with roses, and the other with a fantastic rainbow underskirt, the brides really stand out in these wedding dresses by Legend Bridal, with bold make up by Lou Mac.

Anything goes... Colourful Wedding styling
This colourful, folky styling by Eventalist is perfect for such a unique venue. The rainbow balloons (Balloons by Design), light up letters (Sweetness and Lights), candles and bunting have a youthful charm, adding a fun touch to the dark background. The contrast of fun colours with the spooky masks creates the perfect balance for this eclectic wedding shoot.
These felt alternative wedding bouquets by The Alternative Florist are awesome! They match the gorgeous cake by Eventalist.
