Hi, I’m Dannie! Blotted Ink Photography is about weddings that feel like you – not a polished version shaped by expectations or traditions you don’t connect with. I capture vibrant, colourful, candid moments that focus on real emotion, movement, and the in-between bits that often mean the most.

I work in a way that feels calm and flexible, especially for couples who don’t always feel at home in traditional wedding environments. I’m neurodivergent-friendly, SEN inclusive, and LGBTQ+ welcoming, and I’m really intentional about creating a space where people can relax, unmask, and just be themselves without pressure.

Rather than heavily directing or posing every moment, I focus on observing what’s already happening. The way you naturally interact, the quiet grounding moments, the bursts of laughter you didn’t plan – that’s where the story is for me. I’ll guide when needed, but I won’t interrupt the flow of your day just to “get the shot.”

Being based on the South Devon coast also feeds into how I see light, colour, and atmosphere. I’m drawn to real environments, natural movement, and documentary-style storytelling with a vibrant, energetic edge.

At the heart of my work is connection. I want you to look back at your images and feel the day again – not just see how it looked, but remember how it felt. Bright, honest, emotional, and completely yours.
