Claire Lawrence Celebrant. My ceremonies are relaxed, fun and stylish. They tell your story and set your vibe for the rest of the day. With me, your ceremony will be filled with those ‘ahh’ moments, generous servings of laughter and happy tears!

 I’m based in Nottingham, but I do travel. To create a ceremony that is perfect for you, we meet (either in person or via zoom) and work out exactly what vibe you want. I get a real sense of you as people and what makes your hearts beat faster. I send you questions to answer about each other and about those key moments (first date disasters, weird coincidences, big life changes) as well as those tiny, everyday things that you love about each other. Most importantly, we do all this with lots and lots of laughter. Couples say they found this a really fun and relaxed part of the process.

 Your ceremony can look as much like a traditional wedding as you’d like, or it can also look like something completely new. I write ceremonies that are designed to fit you. These are relaxed, warm, stylish and fun. I embrace diversity in all its glorious forms and provide lots of guidance on vow writing, readings, and any symbolic elements too.

 I am all about getting your important people involved in the ceremony if that’s what you’d like. There are lots of fabulous ways to involve your children, friends, wider family and even the whole guest list in your ceremony. This is done in a way that feels just right for you as a couple.

 There is so much flexibility! I can conduct your ceremony pretty much anywhere and at any time. I never book more than one wedding a day – so you can relax. Many of my ceremonies are conducted in venues that are licensed for weddings, but if you’d like your ceremony somewhere that works better for you, let’s do it!
