Nottingham wedding planner, ‘that black & white cat’ is a multi award-winning wedding planner and designer. Based out of the East Midlands, we cover UK wide with a range of wedding planning services from Full Wedding Planning to On the Day Management. We are the home of the ‘No Ordinary Wedding’.

My advice to anyone getting married is to 100% get a wedding planner, and get Linzi!!
We contacted Linzi in 2019 with the brief of wanting an entire bank holiday weekend affair – where people could camp or stay in more luxury accommodation and stay with us for the whole weekend – somewhere in between a festival/a family fun day and a rugby tour!
She came back with a list of venues and the one we finally chose was PERFECT. We never would have found it without her.
We had a quiz on the Friday, a wedding on the Saturday and inflatables and a ceilidh on the Sunday. Linzi helped sourced ALL of the suppliers and managed the event from beginning to end.
Probably the best example of how amazing she is was when our inflatables supplier dropped out 2 days before the event. She didn’t tell us until she had sourced a replacement bucking bronco/laser quest bouncy castle and slide. AMAZING.
She was around all day to tell us where we needed to be and coordinate everything. This was fantastic and just allowed us to let go of all responsibility and just really enjoy our wedding. We both had THE BEST day.
All of our guests said it was the best wedding they had ever been to and wanted us to renew our vows so we can do it again next year!!
I am mildly neurotic at the best of times and Linzi really supported me through my worries and concerns and countless emails!!!
On top of all of this, she and Seb are really lovely people and make you feel very much at ease. We will definitely be keeping in touch!

Hiring Linzi to help with the on the day coordination for our DIY wedding was honestly one of the best decisions we made.
