The Shack Revolution is a stylish, industrial wedding venue in the heart of Hereford. Created for couples who want something a little different from the traditional wedding venue.
Tucked away in the corner of Bastion Mews, the Shack feels private and relaxed despite being right in the centre of town. You’re just minutes from hotels, independent shops, restaurants and bars, while inside you’ll find exposed brick, skylights, plants, festoon lights and plenty of space to make the venue your own.
With over 400 weddings under our belt, we know a thing or two about throwing a good one. From laid back ceremonies in the Lean To, to dinner, drinks and dancing in the Workshop. Spaces are designed to flow from one part of the day into the next, without feeling overly formal or traditional.
Food is completely flexible too. We don’t have an in house caterer or force you into a set menu, so you can choose food that actually suits you and your guests. Whether that’s sharing plates, pizza, street food, a proper sit down meal or something completely different, it’s up to you.
The Shack started life as a much loved local pizza and cocktail spot before being transformed into a wedding venue. A lot has changed since then, but the original idea remains the same: create a space that feels good, looks great and gives couples plenty of freedom to make their wedding their own.
We’re not a country house, a hotel or a traditional wedding venue. We’re an industrial, design led space for couples who want a wedding that feels relaxed, personal and really fun.
And when the celebrations are over, there’s no need to go far. We now have our own on-site accommodation: two comfortable studio apartments just steps away from the venue.
