We have some brilliant city wedding inspiration for you today! This street art wedding shoot was created by Marantea and Manoir Des Rêves, with the intention of demonstrating how your wedding destination doesn’t have to be a conventional venue, and your big day can be inspired by the things you love. It features some of Bordeaux’s finest street art, creating a perfect backdrop for this unique and colourful wedding inspiration!

Here’s what sticker and signage supplier Marantea told us about this street art wedding inspiration:

“I chose this idea because I am passionate about street art and wanted to capture its vibrant energy in a wedding set up. The shoot took place in Bordeaux, France, in a creative area full of independent businesses, co-working spaces, brasseries and galleries. The vibrant location and incredible street art were our main inspirations for the styling.

We decided that the couple would arrive on skateboards dressed up in their wedding outfits to fit the creative and urban theme. To further tie in the theme, we included spray paint cans as decoration.”

wedding styling

This street art wedding was styled by Manoir Des Rêves, who specialise in upcycling and restoring old antique items that can be hired for weddings. The colour scheme was an array of gorgeous purple and indigo tones, with sunshiney pops of orange and yellow.

The florist was Atelier Petit Brin who created the wonderfully colourful bouquet, pocket boutonniere, and showstopping table arrangements.

Marantea created the bespoke signage and stationery inspired by graffiti, including the table names, welcome sign and audio guestbook sign.

Maquettecreme created a selection of colourful cakes and pastries, as well as a pac-man wedding cake!

relaxed
wedding wear

This couple is rocking modern wedding wear, that’s both functional enough for the city and elegant enough for a wedding. L’atelier 5 provided the pine-green suit, which was styled with a fresh white t-shirt and white trainers for a modern, more casual feel.  Bridalwear designer Maude Basley Couture provided this two-piece, with lots of movement for both style and comfort.

Les Beaux Looks styled the hair for this shoot – a simple, bohemian ‘half up half down’ look for an effortless and relaxed vibe. The makeup by Syb Esthetic was kept glowing and natural, with warm brown tones on the eyes.

We love how natural these relaxed wedding photos by Co and Pic feel, with minimal posing and the love of the couple shining through. Wedding videographer Focus Bassin also captured the energy of the shoot through the fun and colourful video he directed.
