Planning A Night Wedding
We asked Louise Goode Celebrant what inspired her to create this shoot:
“A nighttime wedding is so romantic! I love gardens, nature and sparkly things so my perfect ceremony includes twinkly lights and the scent of the earth. I took inspiration from many different places for this shoot, wanting to combine history, colour and the ethereal.”
We think it’s safe to say she smashed it! Keep reading to find out about the styling and wedding wear…
Ethereal Outdoor Wedding Styling
This night wedding shoot took place at Castle Bromwich Hall Gardens in Birmingham. Its beautiful grounds and enchanting nature made it the perfect location to bring this idea to life. The team used deep jewel tones with pops of metallic, perfect for a romantic celebration.
An arch was created in the garden for the ceremony, draped in sheer fabric and illuminated by fairy lights and lanterns. Harpist Freya Brylka-Mee brought the musical magic, playing her gentle songs as the couple married in the moonlight.
A grazing table was set up, featuring treats from Ladunne Grazing & Cheese and edible favours from Fortified And Satiabbles.
Let’s not forget about this gorgeous wedding cake by Amy Bakers Cakes, with a midnight blue base and a silver top, with foliage inspired by the gardens in the middle. Magic!
Alternative Wedding Wear For A Night Wedding
We’re all about the unique wedding wear here at UW and this couple have hit the nail on the head!
The makeup looks by Finella Beauty Make Up Artist and hair styling by Gemma Harris are fun and creative, to complement the unique outfits. Sarah is rocking a colourful wedding dress by Scarlet Tayla with rainbow tulle and a purple bodice. We are LOVING the fairy vibes, especially with the crown from Odesia May Jewellery. She is carrying a beautiful bouquet by Floral Jazz which is also popping with colour.
Gary is rocking a black kilt suit with a red waistcoat and biker boots. He has a pop of red around his eyes and a diamante bolo tie, adding to the badassery of this wedding look. SO brilliant!
