Ashleigh’s spiritual nature served as a source of inspiration for the couple when planning their autumnal Wiccan wedding. They both share a love for Halloween, so it was a no-brainer that they decided to tie the knot around the spooky season. Pumpkins, along with their favourite colours, orange and black, took centre stage in their wedding decor. The ceremony followed a Wiccan tradition, where they jumped the broom and bound their hands with beautiful ribbons. To make things even more unique, the bridesmaids had little besoms (broomsticks) – how cute is that?

Ashleigh and Daniel’s wedding took place at Sywell Grange in Northamptonshire. Their giant teepee (from Teepees And Tents) played a key role in both creating the magical atmosphere and catering to a large family. It was styled by Nerissa Eve Weddings with twinkling fairy lights, pumpkins and tarot card place names. Along with the rustic signage and ivy wrapping around the beams, the whole aesthetic was both witchy and whimsical!

celebration

The celebration didn’t stop there! Sparklers lit up the night, and a cozy fire pit provided a perfect spot for guests to unwind in the chill-out zone, complete with a s’mores station. Strobe Disco Road Show provided the tunes and The Occasion Bar kept the drinks flowing. To capture the memories, they hired a retro phone for guests to record heartfelt messages into an audio guestbook.

In summary, Ashleigh and Daniel’s autumnal Wiccan wedding was one to remember. Big love to Gem Wright Photography for these gorgeous snaps (check out her UW listing here), and to the amazing couple for sharing their story.
