Elegant Italian Wedding Ceremony
This Italian wedding ceremony took place at San Francesco Church in Montone, a historical Franciscan church with a simple, decadent beauty. It was decorated with an abundance of Olive Tree branches and white candles, creating a wistful and romantic energy. The timeless wedding stationery by Lucia At perfectly summarised this classic style. For the perfect photo opportunity, The couple showed off their wedding rings from VM Jewelry Design on vintage-style tiles by Cotto Etrusco.
Retro Wedding Wear in Umbria
Why have one wedding look when you can have two? After the ceremony, the couple changed into retro-inspired wedding wear to hit the streets of Montone, a beautiful mediaeval village in Umbria. Both wedding dresses are from Chiara Vitale, each with their own special Italian elegance. Visage Studio Estetico created the makeup looks and 50 Sfumature di Colore completed the look with beautiful hair styling.
The grooms wear was courtesy of San Francisco 976, with a brown suit for the ceremony and a lighter, more relaxed style for the reception. The looks were completed with statement sunglasses from Ottica 2M – Shades are a wedding day essential!
Nothing screams ‘Italian Wedding’ like a ride on a Vespa! This couple look incredible with the classic scooter.
An Italian Wedding Celebration - For The Foodies!
For a wedding reception with a difference, This Italian wedding embraced the Umbrian culinary tradition, creating a ‘back to basics’ style celebration at Il Buiolo. Both LMents and floral designer Alberto Menegardi created this Italian wedding table spread, challenging themselves to create something in which the flower is not the main element. Instead, they used staple Italian ingredients as centrepieces, creating a homely feel.
The three-tier wedding cake was created by Torteccetera, decorated with natural springtime ingredients, like daffodils and berries.
This Italian wedding inspiration is stunning, from the elegant church ceremony to the homely and relaxed reception. This shoot shows that you don’t need fancy flowers or a grand celebration to have an incredible wedding – using what you have is enough!
