| Welcome to Bette Love Illustrations, where boring wedding artwork gets shown the door.
Rachel at Bette Love creates fashion-forward, personality-packed illustrations for couples who look at the traditional wedding rulebook and think, βYeahβ¦ we’ll pass.β
Maybe you’re planning a gloriously gothic celebration, rocking a colourful wedding dress, getting married in trainers, wearing vintage glamour from head to toe, or simply doing things your own fabulous way. Whatever your version of a great wedding day looks like, Bette Love is here for it.
With a background in fashion design and styling, Rachel brings a serious love of clothes to every illustration. She captures the details you’ve obsessed over β the dress, the suit, the shoes, the flowers, the jewellery, the tattoos and all those tiny touches that make your wedding unmistakably yours.
But this isn’t about making you look like some generic, airbrushed wedding couple. It’s about making you look like YOU. Curvy bodies? Absolutely. LGBTQ+ love? Always. Alternative style? Bring it on. Big personalities, unusual outfits, wonderfully weird ideas and couples who don’t give two hoots about what they’re supposed to do? Even better.
From beautifully considered studio portraits to live wedding illustrations created while your guests mingle, Rachel at Bette Love creates artwork that’s joyful, expressive and packed with personality. No standard poses. No beige wedding vibes. No pretending everyone wants the same boring thing. Just brilliant illustration, beautiful fashion and your love story β captured in a way that’s as individual as you are.
Your wedding. Your rules. Your style. Your illustration. And if traditional isn’t your thing? Perfect. It isn’t Bette Love’s either.
βI don’t believe your wedding should look like everyone else’s.
My illustrations celebrate individuality rather than trying to smooth it away. I want to capture the things that make you *you* β your style, your personality, your body, your people and all the glorious little details you’ve chosen because they make you happy.
I’m passionate about seeing more real people represented in wedding imagery, too. Different bodies, different relationships, different styles, different ways of celebrating love. Because there isn’t one right way to look like a wedding couple β and there certainly isn’t one right way to get married.
With my fashion background influencing every illustration, clothes are a huge part of the story. I love the drama, the details, the unexpected combinations and the sheer joy of an outfit you’ve fallen completely in love with.
I don’t illustrate weddings to fit the mould. I illustrate them to break it.
Because if you’re going to spend all that time planning a wedding that feels like *you*, your artwork should jolly well do the same. |
