We’re going all the way to Southeast Asia today for this gorgeous Thailand destination wedding. Maisha and Saif are a Canadian/ Bangladeshi couple who celebrated with over 200 of their loved ones over three days of celebration. This wedding was sent to us by Liam Collard Photography and when we saw the photos, we knew we had to share them! Keep reading for more wedding weekend fun.

Maisha and Saif first met in secondary school and began dating in 2011. It was on their seventh anniversary that Saif decided to ask the big question. So, on a freezing day in Toronto, Canada (minus 12 degrees Celsius, to be exact), they made it official!
They decided to get married in Thailand as it was close to their home country of Bangladesh, allowing many of their loved ones to fly over and attend. Xana Beach Club was the perfect venue for them to say their vows on the Angsana beachfront. They also loved the juxtaposition of the intimacy with their loved ones and the beautifully spacious venue and beach.
Surrounded by 214 of their nearest and dearest traveling from countries all over the world, this was a magical occasion that took place over three days.

Here’s what Bride Maisha told us about her Thailand destination wedding:
“I have so many favorite moments from each of our events,” said Maisha. “But my favorite moment was walking down the aisle feeling so nervous and anxious. When I saw Saif on the other side of the aisle smiling at me, it was as if time stood still. He gave me his hand to help me up, and whispered, ‘you look so beautiful!'”.

This lovely couple pulled out all the stops for their Thailand destination wedding! With multiple ceremonies and themes, they had it all. From colourful festival signage with street food stalls and theater performers to a foam party with a swimming pool, they even had a live painter and fireworks which really made it a party.
