Star wars wedding - May the Force be with you
Let your imagination run wild with this movie wedding theme. Imagine Chewbacca walking you down the aisle, or the Cantina Band playing your first dance? You could get your guests to dress up, have lightsaber fights and incorporate Star Wars themed features into your wedding bouquet, buttonholes and decorations! You can find more Star Wars wedding inspiration here.
great gatsby wedding theme
Why not throw it back to the Roaring 20s with this glamorous movie wedding theme? Think Charleston dancing, jazz music, tassels and feathers! Gold, black and white are a dream combination for a Great Gatsby Wedding. 1920’s decor was unapologetically bold, with lots of geometric shapes and mirrored items. Dressing up and going all out sounds like so much fun! For more Great Gatsby wedding inspiration, click here.

Greatest showman Wedding
This is one of my favourite movie wedding themes, because it’s all about fun and self-love! The Greatest Showman has a strong message about embracing your individuality, which is right up our street! You could hire circus performers, vintage props, or decorate a marquee like a big top! Think red, gold and dark blue- you can go as retro or as modern as you like. It’s the perfect theme for a big party! For more The Greatest Showman themed wedding inspiration, click here!
Back To The Future Wedding
These photos are from an engagement shoot, but wouldn’t it be an awesome movie wedding theme? You could rock the DeLorean car, the 80s dress and have details from the film in your stationery, decorations and wedding cake. You could create a Back To The Future playlist, have a ‘time machine’ photo booth and you could even DIY some futuristic gadgets! See the full blog about this Back To The Future wedding shoot here.

Harry Potter Wedding
For a truly magical day, why not turn your venue into Hogwarts for a Harry Potter Wedding? You can incorporate this movie wedding theme as boldly or as subtly as you like- from little wizardy touches to full on fancy dress! You can get themed guest books, table plans, place names, cakes and much more! You could have magic ‘love spells’ on each table, or DIY your own ‘Snitch’ wedding favours. Some celebrants will even dress up and give you a Harry Potter wedding ceremony! For more spellbinding wedding inspiration, click here!
Labyrinth wedding day
How about living out your David Bowie fantasy? Grab your masks and eccentric outfits for a Labyrinth wedding theme! With this theme you can get really creative and choose your favourite elements to combine. Embrace the dramatic and whimsical! Twin Peaks Wedding
Bring a bit of 90’s mystery to your wedding day with a ‘damn fine’ Twin Peaks wedding! Think red draped backdrops, chevron flooring, themed props and subtly incorporating quotes. You can reflect this movie wedding theme in the invitations, seating plan and signage as well as the decor. Black, white and red will create a bold, distinctive look. Wizard Of Oz
What about replacing your wedding isle with a yellow brick road? Go bold with a Wizard Of Oz wedding theme! You can go colour crazy with this one. Think red slippers, eclectic decor and ‘Somewhere Over The Rainbow’. Again, you could nod to the theme or go all out. You can combine this theme with steampunk or vintage styling, or put your own take on it. For more kooky wedding inspiration click here!

Game Of Thrones Wedding
Transport your wedding guests into a fantasy world with a Game Of Thrones Wedding! This movie wedding theme is a great excuse to go big with the props. Combine a warm, luxurious colour scheme with calligraphy signage and maybe a wedding cape (or two!) for the ultimate fantasy wedding. Lots of foliage will give a dreamy feel and the odd dragon wouldn’t hurt! We have more Game Of Thrones themed wedding inspiration here and here.
