A Festival Yurt Wedding
Kirstie from Daze Photography and Film organised this shoot at Yorkshire Yurts’ new wedding venue Yurtshire. This stunning location has amazing views with an outdoor ceremony spot, a beautiful lake, a stone bridge and several luxury glamping yurts. What better place for a disco festival wedding?
The intention was to keep it eco-friendly, so she contacted local suppliers to keep the carbon footprint low and used seasonal products where possible.

Disco Festival Wedding Styling
The colour scheme of pinks, purples and oranges came from the seasonal flowers suggested by florist and celebrant Celebration Ceremonies & Weddings. To add a bit of fun and sparkle, All Her Glory Designs created the incredible streamer cloud, as well as adding the hanging disco balls and the ‘Kiss Me Under The Disco Ball’ signage.
The table settings were already set up for an open day at the venue, but Props & Knots Hire added seagrass placemats, goblet wine glasses and glass candle holders. They also brought heart sunglasses as wedding favours! To complete the look, they provided the peacock chair and rugs.
There’s nothing like a bit of macrame to bring a bohemian vibe! Indi Rose Macrame provided the stunning dream catcher, the orange piece for the top table, peace signs and plant hangers used to hold the disco balls.
Colourful Wedding Details
This bohemian wedding stationery was designed by Made By Mudd, with the colourful wildflowers fitting the theme perfectly. The table sign really helped bring the outside into the yurt and worked brilliantly with the surroundings.
This modern square wedding cake was made by Lynn at The Wee Bakery to match the disco festival wedding theme. It has a gold peacock feather design, adorned with colourful dried bunny tail grass.
