Here’s what Julie from Wedding Cakes by the Sea told us about this shoot:

“We held our Fairground wedding shoot at Marleybrook House in Kent. This exceptional venue hosts its own fully restored working fairground, with attractions including the Waltzers, a Helter Skelter and Hook a Duck. I specifically wanted to encapsulate the natural colours at the funfair in this shoot. The reds, oranges, yellows and purples were built into this whole shoot, even down to the dip-dyed wedding dress and bright colours in the bouquet and the wedding cake. We wanted to use bold colours throughout the shoot to create a look that stood out.”

Fairground Wedding Styling - Bright & Bold!

We’re loving this colourful wedding styling by KB Interiors & Events. The traditional fairground red has been combined with bold oranges, yellows and indigos to create this eye-catching display. With the balloon hoop by CJK Balloons and bold florals by Louise Hartley English, as well as colourful napkins, candles and ribbons on chairs, these colours have come together brilliantly!

The bright wedding stationery by Alf & Alba perfectly ties in with the style, as does the purple wedding cake by Wedding Cakes by the Sea, complete with bright orange dahlias which are actually sugar flowers made from flower paste!

Colourful Wedding Wear

Leigh & Craig look bloomin’ brilliant in this fairground wedding shoot! Both of them are rocking fairly traditional wedding wear, adding an unconventional twist with strong pops of colour.

This ombre wedding dress by Felicity Westmacott – Bespoke Bridal is a show stopper! We love a colourful wedding dress and this is no exception. Bunny Loves Evie provided the pink and gold bridal accessories, including the flower headband which really completes the look. Lara James Makeup created a natural and glowing look with a bright pop of pink on the lip, and Hair By Terri created a ‘half up, half down’ style with gorgeous cascading curls.

Let’s not forget this lovely little bridesmaid! Olive Lane Weddings provided this beautiful bridesmaids dress with the hot pink sash.
