Unique Wedding Inspiration at Wollaton Hall

Here’s what Frankie from Pink Photographics told us about this modern boho wedding shoot:

“This shoot was originally planned for April 2020, then rescheduled for numerous dates over the next year and finally went ahead a year later. The idea behind this modern boho wedding shoot was to create something that contrasted but complemented the gorgeous Nottingham wedding venue, Wollaton Hall.

While in the Camelia house, due to the amount of glass and soft industrial feel, I wanted the floral necklace to be the main focal point on Ellie with Francesca’s bouquet and hair slide to compliment it.

I felt like the rest of the shoot needed to be softer with the styling, so we changed to a flower crown and jackets and simply added to the already beautiful scenery with macrame, origami stars, oversized lampshades and real petal confetti.”

Modern Boho Wedding Styling

The team kept the bridal styling simple using rich warm tones and a mix of textures, leaving loads of room for creativity in the venue dressing and wedding flowers. Samantha Jo Hairdressing and Lauren Butler Makeup were a dream team, creating these soft yet bold bridal looks.

We loveeee statement wedding flowers! These colourful floral creations by Bennington Blooms really brought the modern boho look to life, injecting a splash of fun. These are perfectly complemented by the wedding cake from Confection Of Affection, finished off with a macrame trim.

Speaking of macrame! We’re digging the bohemian wedding backdrops by Go For Macrame Wall, bringing a beautiful, free-spirited feeling to the shoot.
