How to recreate this rustic festival wedding
BOLD WEDDING WEAR
Don’t be afraid of splashes of colour on your dress or on your veil.
WORK WITH YOUR SUPPLIERS
A good wedding supplier will be all ears! Suggest as many ‘out there’ ideas as you like & let them help you bring them to life.
A wedding VENUE THAT FEELS GOOD
This whole shoot was inspired by the venue. Trust your gut in choosing a place that makes you relaxed and happy.
Relaxed wedding inspiration at the stables
Here’s what Grace In Spring Weddings told us about this rustic festival wedding:
“This shoot is my take on the rustic, festival-style weddings but with a twist. I wanted to use the unique aspects of The Stables Wedding Farm such as the hobbit houses and the golf buggies as they play practical and essential roles in the venue. I also wanted to showcase the rugged and rural surroundings with late summer colours whilst also adding regal touches. We added in some fun elements to the shoot, such as having our model dog Bree and the black horse with the couple, Jan and Zuzana. I wanted all suppliers to go crazy with their creativity and produce something that they have always wanted to feature in a wedding.”

Rustic festival wedding Styling
We are big fans of this rustic festival wedding aesthetic! Stories Of Style smashed the wedding styling with autumnal florals and bohemian touches creating a bright and airy feel. The tipi was kitted out with gorgeous macrame creations from Get Knotted Wedding Hire.
Cakes By P complemented this with a gorgeous rectangular tower wedding cake, complete with draping flower decoration. Yum!
It’s the details that make this shoot so special! The Occasional Sonnet provided a bespoke rhyming couplet for the couple, which was read by celebrant Ceremonies By Nikki and incorporated into the stationery by Wedding Calligraphy By Rachel. Talk about teamwork!

A festival power couple
How flippin’ fantastic does this couple look?
Zuzana is rocking a two-piece wedding dress from Eliza May Atelier and we’re a little bit in love with the blush ombre layered tulle skirt. The look is completed with a paint-splashed bespoke veil by Star & Leaf Veil – perfect for adding a little colour! Inanna Bespoke Shoes provided these stunning, hand-painted, pink glitter heels, as well as the statement crown headpiece! Gemma Walker HMUA smashed it with the hair and makeup, giving Zuzana a summery glow and perfectly complimenting her gorgeous auburn locks. Jan is looking brilliant in unique groomswear by Buckley’s Menswear.
Both bride and groom are wearing designer glasses from Spexbox. We LOVE this idea, allowing you to rock prescription glasses and feel like yourself without compromising on style! They also have a magnetic sunglasses addition… Genius!
