This alternative celestial wedding was sent to us all the way from France, and we are LOVING the love story. The ‘To The Stars’ theme ties in both ethereal and earthly elements to celebrate a union in a timeless yet quirky style. This shoot was put together by Oui Mon Chou and Ana Kï Photographe and we think you’re gonna dig it. Check it out!

Cosmic Decor & Wedding Pancakes!
The details in this alternative celestial wedding are giving us major love heart eyes! The team have used midnight blue as a base colour alongside other jewel tones and metallics to create a warm and rich palette. The table is dressed with a statement, lunar-inspired centerpiece, decorated with flowers and crystals. The gold flakes are perfect for adding both magic and opulence! The clear wedding stationery gives a very modern and minimal vibe, whilst still representing the theme.
And let’s talk about this dessert table! We’ve seen all kinds of alternative wedding food, but this is the first time we’ve stumbled across gourmet pancakes! These almost look too gorgeous to eat!

alternative celestial wedding looks
We are loving these wedding looks! This couple are rocking the timeless look, while still showing their individuality. The bride’s dress and hairstyle are elegantly simple to showcase her tattoos and head jewelry, the details of which fit the theme perfectly. Following the same idea, the groom wears a midnight blue pinstripe suit, allowing the gaze to drift to his incredible golden beard and tattoos.

to the stars... a unique wedding ceremony
This alternative wedding ceremony looks epic! Here’s what Oui Mon Chou told us about the inspiration behind it:
“The master of ceremonies is a character emerging from a dream whose floral adornments represent the Sun and the Moon. By exchanging their vows with yellow fluorite stones, a symbol of joy and unity, the couple promise each other love ‘to the stars’.”
Cute! We love seeing the unique and personal ways couples find to make their ceremony represent them.
