We have an awesome real wedding for you today! These snaps are by Lee Maxwell Photography from Jenny & Huw’s seaside wedding last summer in St, Mawes, Cornwall. This wonderful couple had big plans, but ended up scaling down to having six people in attendance! We think they ROCKED it. They combined all the things they love into this beautiful day and we think it’ll bring you some epic micro wedding inspiration. Keep reading for sea swimming and gorgeous wedding photos!

A Seaside Wedding For Six - Scaling It Down
Like many, Jenny and Huw had to get creative with their wedding plans, with a total of six people in attendance. What once was a big May celebration ended up being an intimate seaside wedding on the Cornish coast. We love that they focused on what they could do, and embraced everything they love doing, including going for a morning swim in the sea before the ceremony! St Mawes was a special family destination for Jenny and her family when she was little and was the perfect choice for the new version of the wedding day.

Pandemic Wedding Planning
It has sure been a roller coaster for the whole world to figure out all this pandemic business. The world of weddings seems to have been flipped on its head and shaken! Despite the hardships, it fills us with hope seeing the creative solutions couples and suppliers have found. Here’s what Lee Maxwell Photography told us:
“As a photographer, I have the joy of seeing lots of different styles of weddings. What I feel 2020 has taught us, with weddings at least, is to focus on what’s important. Lots of couples I’ve worked with have re-calibrated their day, and because restrictions were imposed upon them, they’ve created something new. Jenny & Huw are the epitome of this to me. They re-planned their wedding day around what they want and nothing else, creating new memories in an already special place.”
